Post Card Project - 70 Years Hollins Abroad
Are you a Hollins Alum who studied abroad during your time at Hollins?
Help us celebrate 70 years of life-changing experiences
at Hollins by participating in our postcard project!
Everybody loves a good postcard, including us! So send us your best pictures, the ones you show your family and friends. Let us live vicariously through the moments that make you wish you could time-travel just to do it one more time!
Interested? There are 2 ways to participate in this project.
- If you have a photo you would like to use, download the image on one of these templates (Portrait, Landscape) to create your own postcard with your picture! (Please be mindful of the image portrayed).
- If you do not have a photograph to share, download one of the templates below with Hollins Abroad images from the last 70 years here:
- 2020 London in Sweden
- 2016 Ecuador, Kapok Tree (see image below)
- 2007 London, Buckingham Palace
- 1994 London
- 1983-84 Paris, Notre Dame Cathedral
- 1979 Paris Postcard
- 1963 Moscow
-
1955 SS Liberté (see image to the right - the first Hollins Study Abroad program to Paris)
On the 2nd page, please share with us your experience! Include your name and class year, country and year abroad, along with a story to share. Below are some suggested prompts:
-
What is your best memory?
-
How did the experience impact your trajectory?
- What advice do you have for future Study Abroad students?
Once cards are created, save, change the title of your file with your last name and class year (GLO_2023) and upload here.
Thanks for participating and we look forward to reminiscing with all of the Hollins Community!
